Position Title :
Operations Manager- Tourism Location: Coimbatore, TN Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities ? Assist GM Tour in developing of domestic and International tour packages and promotes those packages in the Domestic and International customers. ? Designing flexible tour packages to meet the needs of different clients. ? Exploring and identifying new business opportunities in a competitive and rapidly changing industry. ? Maintaining a high level of communication among area attractions, Airlines and other tourism industry representatives. ? Managing the marketing efforts to all of the tour agents across the country/ Abroad. Prioritizing importance of offices based on feeder markets and defining and implementing marketing strategy. ? Determining new and innovative creative messages for the Organization. ? Planning new research-based advertising strategies for current and subsequent years that will increase leisure travel market share. ? Organizing and attending tourism events, conferences, workshops, seminars and exhibitions ? Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Ability to drive and inspire, Confidence and able to represent the company in conferences/ Trade Marts/ Other Marketing Activities. ? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. ? Coordinate the invitation of potential future promoters and supporters of the company. ? Must have knowledge in Organizational developments/ Reporting systems/ Retention policies. Position Requirements: ? Education or Equivalent: Post Graduate in Business Administration. ? Experience: 5 To 8 years experience in the Operations - Tourism. ? Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Must be able to speak read and follow instructions in Local Languages/English. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent presentation skills. ? Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to travel extensively across the allocated region and be flexible enough to change schedule as needed. Must be able to handle stress and perform in a fast-paced environment.
